European public cloud · Stockholm and Lille

The European cloud, without the overhead.

Servers, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL and object storage, run by automation and AI instead of a back office. We pass the saving on: a server is €1.49 a month and a 4 core Kubernetes node is €7.49.

Against the European clouds

The same 4 vCPU and 8 GiB, priced across Europe

The most common Kubernetes node, shared CPU, at each provider's own list price. Every figure is read from the provider's price page and dated.

Monthly list prices in euros before VAT, read in September 2026. OVHcloud and Scaleway bill a public IPv4 on top; UpCloud includes one; Ankra Cloud includes an IPv6 /64 and charges €4.00 for IPv4. Method and every size.

Why it costs less

A cloud bill, minus the overhead

Running a cloud costs more than its hardware. The rest is management, and management is what software and AI are good at. Every line we automate is a line you stop paying for.

Servers, power and networkIn the price
Operating the fleetDone by hand, on callAutomated: upgrades roll out under running servers
Routine requestsTickets and waitingOne API, a CLI and AI agents
IPv4 addressesBundled into every serverOptional, €4.00 a month when you need one
Virtualisation licencesPassed on to youNone: open source and our own stack
Upgrades

A fleet upgrade stops no servers

The node agent upgrades underneath running servers, one host at a time, and the rollout halts itself on the first failure.

Recovery

A failed host is fenced, then replaced

When a host stops answering it is powered off and cut from storage, and only then do its servers restart elsewhere. Planned work empties a host with live migration first.

Operations

Every operation is a tool an agent can call

The whole cloud sits behind one API. Our operators hand routine work to AI agents through it, and the same door is open to yours.

European sovereignty

A data centre in Frankfurt does not make a cloud European

What matters is who runs it and whose law reaches the data. Ankra Cloud is built and operated by a Swedish company with no US parent, and your servers, disks and networks run only in EU zones.

What that means in practice
  • Stockholm, Swedense-sto1 · eu-north
    Live
  • Lille, Francefr-lil1 · eu-west
    Live
  • Contract with Ankra AB, Swedish law, billing in euros with European VAT.
AI on your side of the bill

The second saving is your own time.

A cheap server only helps if it doesn't cost you an engineer to look after. The automation and AI that keep our running cost down are there to keep yours down too.

Ask the cloud about itself

Early access

Ankra AI in the console answers from your own account: servers, plans, backups and spend. It proposes rather than acts, so every change stays your decision.

What is my biggest cost this month?

Ankra AI

worker-1 is the largest compute line. I can compare its plan with the alternatives before proposing a change.

One API, four doors

Click it, script it or hand it to an agent

The console, the ankra-cloud CLI, the Terraform provider and the MCP server all call the same public API. Moving from another cloud is code, not clicks.

  • API tokens that expire, with read-only and scoped variants
  • Owner, admin, member and viewer roles
  • A hash-chained audit log of every action
  • Support sessions that are read-only unless you consent

Want Kubernetes without a platform team?

Ankra Platform builds and operates clusters on Ankra Cloud servers, ships your applications to them and puts AI agents on call. Same account, no lock-in either way.

Questions

What people ask before they move

Who runs Ankra Cloud?

Ankra AB, a Swedish company in Stockholm. We built the cloud ourselves: our own node agent on KVM, our own control plane and our own storage and networking. Your contract is with Ankra AB under Swedish law.

Where are the data centres?

Two public zones today: Stockholm, Sweden (se-sto1) and Lille, France (fr-lil1). Resources stay in the zone you create them in.

How does billing work?

Every resource is billed by the hour at its monthly price divided by 730, and never more than its monthly price in a calendar month. Prices are in euros, excluding VAT. A card is required to create resources; your credit is spent first.

Do I need a public IPv4 address?

Usually not. Every server gets a routed public IPv6 /64. IPv4 clients can reach IPv6-only servers through a network edge, and servers reach the IPv4 internet through NAT64. When a server does need its own IPv4, it is €4.00 a month.

Can I use Terraform and my own tools?

Yes. The console, the ankra-cloud CLI, the ankraio/ankracloud Terraform provider and the MCP server all call the same public API, so anything you can click you can also script.

How is this different from Ankra Platform?

Ankra Cloud is the infrastructure: servers, storage, networks and managed services. Ankra Platform, at ankra.ai, deploys and operates applications on Kubernetes on any cloud, Ankra Cloud included. Use either on its own or both with the same account.

Get started

Pay for servers, not overhead.
€249 to try it.

Every new account gets €249 of credit for 60 days, no code needed. Add a card, and the credit is spent before the card is ever charged. Your first server is running in Stockholm or Lille within minutes.
